Thanks to Our Neighboring Hunts

December 8, 2008

The Kennel cough is over - hounds have settled back into their normal exercise routine.  Subscribers are welcome to join in hound exercise on Tuesday, Dec. 9  at 10 am from the kennels - dress is casual and warm!!

We will be hunting with the Potomac Hunt on Thursday, Dec. 11, with their hounds.

The Blue Ridge Hunt hounds will be hunting again on Saturday, December 13 as scheduled on the fixture card, meeting at Bartley at 10am.  We will resume our regular hunting schedule.  Please check the monitor for location of meets as we have missed some good country during the last few weeks and some meets may change from the regular schedule on your fixture card.

We were lucky to have been looked after so well by our neighboring hunts during the kennel cough.  We are very appreciative of all their efforts to help us continue hunting.  Look for photo essays in the next few weeks showing our outings with Loudoun Hunt West, the Old Dominion Hounds, and the Thornton Hill hounds hunting our territory, and with the Piedmont Fox Hounds and the Old Dominion Hounds hunting their territory.
