Winter Hunt Schedule
The hounds meet Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from September 1st to March 31st. After January 1, meets are scheduled on a daily basis due to weather conditions. Check the Hunt Monitor, 540-837-1820. |
BRH Special Guests at Area Hunts
Thursday, December 4, we are guests of the Piedmont Fox Hounds. The meet is at 10:00 at Peace & Plenty Farm (Route 712/Delaplane Grade Road, on the right 2 miles south of Route 50 at Upperville.
Saturday, December 6, we are guests of the Old Dominion Hounds. The meet is at 9:30 at Hawthorne Farm (I-66 east to Route 647/Crest Hill Road (Marshall), south on 647 to 688/Leeds Manor Road, left on 688, past the Old Dominion Kennels and the village of Orlean, then first right onto Kilkenny Road, then left at the fork to Hawthorne Road and back to the meet. Breakfast to the field and their spouses after the meet by kind invitation of Douglas Wise, MFH and her family - all are welcome.

Kennel Cough
We have kennel cough in the BRH kennels - we will definitely not be hunting our hounds for two weeks (as of November 22). We are making plans as we speak to bring some other packs in to keep us going on the off day every week. Stay tuned for more information. |
